Copa America
One of the biggest tournaments of this summer, the Copa America, which means America Cup in Spanish, is set to kickoff June 26 in South America. The tournament will be hosted this year in Venezuela. Two teams from North America, who are USA and Mexico, will also compete in order to bring home the cup to their respective countries. Brazil, the holders of the cup from 2004, will be looking to defend their title.
For those of you who don't know the Copa America is usually held every two years in South America, but is being changed to every four years like the World Cup. It is the main international cup held in South America. Argentina and Uruguay are the leading winners of the Copa America with 14 cup wins a piece.
Check your local listings for channels showing the games.
Also the ESPN Bottomline Ticker should be showing scores throughout the tournament.
